Heads-Up Display (HUD) Retrofit DIY for 2010 Camaro

The 2011 Camaro does not feature many new upgrades over the 2010 Camaro, but one of most desired is the heads-up display (HUD) feature. There may now be a retrofit DIY for 2010 Camaro owners who are interested in this extremely convenient function. Member sponsor 2SSRS from Camaro5 has put together an HUD Retrofit DIY. The final results are not yet in, but make sure to subscribe to the thread for updates and the final product. View the HUD DIY at the following LINK.

Deal of the week! 2006 King Ranch with 69K miles LOADED!

OK, here's the deal! I'm gonna post the hottest deals in FULL DISCLOSURE when I get em in. When we take one in on trade, I'll give it a once over and let you all know what it is, how it books out, and how much you can buy it for. Who would know better than me? NOBODY.... I am putting the Black Book Value right in the listing. I'll tell you all I know about it, and you can bet - these won't last long. I want the people who need to know to have the first shot at these deals. No salesperson talk here - just straight forward deals.

FIRST UP for this week - 2006 King Ranch F150 Crew Cab - It gets respect like the LION KING! This King Ranch has four full doors and it's a really classy pickup. It's a compromise between a workhorse and high end transportation. Ford increased the equipment level, fit, and finish in order to make the King Ranch the most enjoyable Ford trim level available. To sum it up in one word - CLASS. You will not be disappointed in this one at all.

Open the door on this King Ranch and your gonna see that signature King Ranch seat covered in brown leather cowhide. The leather is laced together and stitched tight. Combined with light beige on the door panels and the dashboard and you've got the right package straight out of a magazine. If you have never seen or felt of the King Ranch seats - you've been under a rock! It's soft and it's really thick leather. Not like the imitation stuff that normally is accepted as leather. This stuff wears beautifully. I really can't thing of another manufacturer that has this kind off leather. No stains that I can see, just normal colors and wear patterns. Interior is in great shape and I can't really see where the back seat has been even used all that much. No kids and french fries under the seats on this one - I looked everywhere. Oh, it also has a power sunroof and memory seats too.

This truck is immaculate inside and out. Not a scratch or dent anywhere I can see. Drives out wonderfully and has some custom exhaust work done. Not loud or obnoxious, but deep and rich. Sounds great. The tires are an all-terrain tire, so they are a little noisier than a street tire but well acceptable and they give the truck a taller stance too. Spray in bed line on this one in black. With only 69K miles, this truck was driven carefully and taken care of. Everything is as it should be. I drove it and put it in Four Wheel Drive and it works fine, smooth and effortless. Sunroof too!!

LET's GET TO THE BOTTOM LINE:

Above, your gonna see a screen shot of the BLACK BOOK on this truck. I took a screen shot of my computer with my iPhone. It's accurate as of today (just a few minutes ago!). Who else does this? NOBODY! I told you in the beginning - this is gonna be a deal. FULL DISCLOSURE. As you can see, this one has a trade in value of $24,675. It's worth every penny. BUT - that;s not where I'm selling this one at - I'm selling it at
$22600. (Plus tax and fees). Your looking at a a 2006 Crew Cab truck with the King Ranch package, sunroof and Four Wheel Drive. Still can get 60 month financing and keep a decent note. I can handle that for you too. OK, let's sum everything up. If you want this one, CALL ME 601-310-1348. If you know someone who's looking for a truck; have them call me and if they buy it - I'll send you $100 Christmas Bonus! Actually, I'll send it out right away! Let's get together and get this done - I wanna make you the deal, not somebody else!

myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink Apps Now Available

Free apps for iPhone and Android platforms combine convenience of smart-phone applications with power of OnStar.

Beginning 10/29/2010, owners of 2011 Chevrolet models can access their vehicle information and OnStar services right from their smart phones. The myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink applications, available as free downloads, provide drivers with unprecedented connectivity to their vehicles from their Android or Apple iPhone device.
"This is a great example of how we are focusing on smart technologies that address customers' needs," said Chris Perry, vice president, Chevrolet marketing. "With myChevrolet and Onstar MyLink apps, customers can search their owners' manual, find their parking spot, and even unlock their car – right from their phone."

Features of the apps fall into three categories: location-based services, vehicle-specific information, and OnStar connectivity features.

The location-based services include a parking reminder that allows drivers to save their parking location to a GPS-enabled map, set a timer to track how much time they have on the parking meter, and even add a note or photo with details about their parking location. If they return to a flat tire, the driver can use the app to request roadside assistance or to locate the closest Chevrolet dealership and schedule a service appointment.

Vehicle-specific information is accessible after scanning the vehicle identification number using the smart-phone camera. These features include searchable content for the most-commonly accessed information in the owner's manual, such as directions saving radio presets. The app also provides explanations of warning lights and indicators on the vehicle instrument panel at the touch of a button.

In addition, myChevrolet integrates with the OnStar MyLink app to access exclusive OnStar technologies. Through OnStar's unique connection to the vehicle, owners can send remote vehicle commands such as unlocking or locking the doors, and starting the engine. In addition, owners can access key diagnostic information, including fuel tank level and range, remaining oil life, current and recommended tire pressure and lifetime average miles per gallon. The diagnostic information is current as of the last vehicle start, giving OnStar subscribers an up-to-date health report of their vehicle anytime they need it.

myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink are currently available for download, free of charge, from http://www.apple.com/, or from http://www.android.com/.
